Gutter repair in Lubbock

Leaks, sagging runs, loose downspouts and hail dents fixed in Lubbock and Wolfforth.

Gutter problems we fix

Most gutters can be fixed instead of replaced. Here’s where to look for each problem, so you can tell what’s wrong with your gutters.

  • Water spraying from the joint where a black gutter outlet meets its downspout elbow, on a brick wall beside a wooden pergola post.

    Leaks at seams and corners

Check the corners and where the downspout joins the gutter. Drips there mean a joint has opened.

  • Looking along the inside of a cream gutter on a shingle roof edge, with a metal hanger across the trough.

    Sagging or pulling away

Look at the brackets or hangers that hold your gutter up. Loose ones let a run sag or pull away.

  • Rain pouring over the end of a white gutter on a house with teal siding, the water falling in a sheet and in drops down the wall.

    Overflowing

Watch the gutter and downspout in a hard rain. Water spilling over the front means a clog or a run that’s too small.

  • A crushed, torn downspout outlet at the edge of a concrete slab, under a blue sky with clouds.

    Loose or crushed downspouts

Check the straps and the bend at the bottom. A loose strap or a crushed bend calls for downspout repair.

  • White metal shutter slats pocked with dents and holes from hail.

    Hail dents

After a hailstorm, look along the face of your gutters. Small dents can be hard to see from the ground.

When it’s more than the gutter

Sometimes a gutter problem starts somewhere else: a hailstorm dented the runs, or the wood they hang on has rotted. We fix both, and each one below links to the page that covers it.

  • A new dark bronze seamless gutter wrapping a limestone corner under a gray shingle hip roof and a dormer.

    Hail-damaged gutters

We replace hail-dented gutter runs with new seamless gutters, formed on site to fit your house. If the storm hit your windows, fascia or siding too, we repair those as well and help you with your insurance company.

  • A tan gutter on the fascia at a roof corner, the soffit under it, against a cloudy blue sky.

    Rotted fascia behind the gutter

Your gutters hang on the fascia, the board along the edge of your roof, and when it rots the gutter sags or pulls away. We replace the rotted fascia, so your gutter has something solid to hang on again.

Gutter repair questions

Is it expensive to fix gutters?

A repair to one spot usually costs much less than new gutters. The price depends on what’s wrong and how much of it: a leaking seam or corner, a sagging run, a loose or crushed downspout, or rotted fascia behind the gutter. We check it at the free estimate and give you a price before any work starts.

Can gutters be fixed, or do they need replacing?

Most can be fixed. A leaking seam or corner can be resealed, a sagging run rehung, and a crushed downspout replaced on its own. New gutters make more sense when the trouble runs the whole length: leaks in many places, sagging all along, or hail dents from end to end. We’ll look at yours at the free estimate and tell you which you need.

Should I replace 20-year-old gutters?

Not just because of their age. If they still drain to the downspouts and hold tight to the house, fixing a leaking corner or a loose hanger can keep them working. If they leak in many places, sag or were dented by hail, it’s time for new gutters. We’ll check yours at the free estimate and tell you which it is.

Can a leaking gutter seam be fixed?

Usually. A seam or corner that drips can be cleaned out and resealed, and a seamless gutter only has joints at its corners, end caps and downspout outlets. If a run leaks in many spots, replacing it may cost less in the end. Call us and we’ll take a look.

How soon can you come out?

It depends on the season and the weather: after a big storm, every gutter company in town gets busy, so it helps to call early. Call us and we’ll give you the first time we have.
