Home window repair in Lubbock
Broken glass, foggy windows and torn screens fixed on Lubbock homes.
What we fix on your windows
When the frame is sound, window glass replacement or window screen repair can usually fix broken glass, a torn screen or a foggy pane without a new window.
-

Broken window glass replaced
When a window pane cracks or breaks, we can replace just the glass and keep the window you have. When the frame is sound, that usually costs less than a new window.

If hail breaks your windows, take photos of the damage and call your insurance company first. Then call us to board up the broken windows, and we’ll help with the insurance paperwork.

FAQs
Window repair questions
Is it cheaper to repair a window or replace it?
Usually it’s cheaper to repair it, when the frame is sound and only the glass or a screen is broken. When the frame is cracked, warped or rotted, or the window won’t open, close or lock, a new window is often the better buy. We’ll look at yours at the free estimate and tell you which it is.
How do you fix a broken double-pane window?
A double-pane window is two panes of glass sealed together as one unit, so a broken pane is fixed by replacing the whole sealed unit, not one sheet of glass. The frame can stay if it’s sound. The same fix clears a window that’s foggy between the panes, where the seal has failed.
Can you fix a window without replacing it?
Often, yes. Broken glass, a fogged sealed unit and a torn screen can usually be fixed while the frame stays in the wall. When the frame itself is rotted, cracked or warped, window replacement is the better fix.
Do you fix car windows?
No. We work on home windows, not car or truck glass. For a windshield or a car window, an auto glass shop is the one to call.
How much do window screens cost?
It depends on the window’s size and shape, the frame and the mesh. A torn screen in a sound frame can often be rescreened, which costs less than a new one. Call us and we’ll give you a price.
What should I do if hail breaks my windows?
Take photos of the damage and call your insurance company first. Then call us at 806-829-2622. We can board up the broken windows to keep the weather out, then help with the assessment and the insurance paperwork.
Do you repair windows outside Lubbock?
Yes. We work in Lubbock, Wolfforth, Shallowater, Levelland, Plainview, Snyder, Midland and Odessa, and all the counties around them.
